Technical report
Robot errors, social cues and calibrated human trust
This thesis studies how errors and their consequences affect trust in domestic robots and how social behaviour may repair that trust. Its abstract connects error awareness and user expectations with human-oriented interaction. It is relevant to human factors and reliance after failures; recovering trust is not evidence that the underlying physical fault has been corrected.
