Assess achieved PL across the whole function
A component data sheet is an input to an integrated assessment.

Draw the whole chain
Use an original boundary sheet to identify sensor, logic, communication and final elements. Tie each item to its actual revision and intended use. Assemble reliability data, architecture, diagnostics, common-cause measures, software evidence and mission assumptions needed by the selected assessment method. Keep calculated reliability, structural constraints and systematic measures visible.
Product data has a boundary
The UR10e reference explicitly includes connected equipment and architecture when considering an integrated safety function. In this project’s examples, a device certificate or a subsystem PFHd therefore leaves integration work to do. Compare the resulting complete-function PL with its PLr only after checking all relevant conditions.
