Safety maps for robot design and contact-risk evaluation
The safety-map concept combines robot dynamics with human injury information to compare inherent and task-dependent contact risk. The abstract explains its use early in design and in assessment workflows. Applying such a map requires checking the underlying human data, contact models and task assumptions; a map is not an independent certification result.
