Technical report
Actuators and path planning for reducing robot impact
The thesis compares actuator models, compliant covers, collision reactions and paths chosen to reduce reflected mass. Its abstract reports simulations balancing tracking performance with impact-force measures. These model-dependent comparisons can inform design choices, but simulated force reductions must not be treated as measured human injury protection.
