Technical report
Common-cause failures in robot-safety reliability models
The study analyzes four robot-safety system models with common-cause failures. It derives reliability and availability measures using constant failure-rate assumptions and an arbitrary failed-system repair distribution. Its relevance is to failure dependence and maintenance modelling, rather than demonstrating the performance level of a contemporary protective control system. The title page carries a 2003 copyright year; the repository date is 2013 and is not used as the study date.
