Plan from the specification
OSHA’s robot guidance calls for a documented verification and validation process beyond visual inspection. This project’s proposed test worksheet links each function ID to a method, preconditions, equipment versions, expected result and acceptance criterion. Include credible faults and mode transitions as well as normal triggering.
Retain the result and review changes
For the three cases, collect stop traces, configuration records, circuit evidence and restart observations. Record deviations and the responsible review. After a changed gripper, payload, robot program, safety configuration or access layout, identify which assumptions and tests need re-evaluation. All tests in the examples are proposed until results are recorded.
