Using 3-D LiDAR Data for Safe Physical Human-Robot Interaction
A perception pipeline combines several 3D LiDAR channels with a learned detector for speed-and-separation-based robot control. A shop-floor-style study collects data from seventeen participants. Dataset behavior and the authors' SSM implementation must be distinguished from verified safety-rated perception and control.
